The HydroFlex WP2 report “Hydropower Providing Flexibility for a Renewable Energy System: Three European Energy Scenarios” is published!

The report defines three European energy scenarios, “Green Hydro”, “Reference” and “Prosumer”, examining demand on future flexibility and profitability of hydropower.

It has been launched at the EnergiNorge seminar “Post COP-24- How to unlock clean and flexible hydropower in Europe” in Brussels on December 18, where HydroFlex WP2 representative Philipp Baumanns from the Institute of Power Systems and Power Economics (IAEW) at RWTH Aachen presented the scenarios.
