Kvilldal

Kvilldal hydropower plant, which is operated by Statkraft, is located in the municipality of Suldal in Rogaland, Norway. Kvilldal is part of the Ulla-Førre hydropower complex, which is Northern Europe’s largest and includes the artificial lake Blåsjø, which is made by dams around 1,000 meters above sea level.

The Kvilldal facility operates at an installed capacity of 1,240 MW, making it the largest power station in Norway in terms of capacity. It is equipped with four Francis turbines.
